Tests
The test season was very successful:
26th April - Ubo at 10 months old won his first ever puppy test, Cal gained 4th in Special puppy.
27th April - Cal and I won ND/NH
Following on from that, Ubo managed a further 4 awards!
Cal gained another 2 awards
Both boys also gained awards over seas in Northern Ireland.
Trials
Farndale All Aged trial 2025
Ubo ran against some very good FTCH at this trial, having picked all of his retrieves, also having an eye wipe, he gained a COM and Guns choice in very challenging conditions
Jan 2026 - Checkley Novice
A very heavy drive for this driven trial, we lost a lot of dogs due to how heavy it was but Ubo sat nicely and performed well to gain a 2nd
Knightwick Manor - Worcester 2025 Novice
Another driven trial, fairly heavy drives but Ubo sat beautifully through them, he picked his birds, called back for a 4 dog run off for second place, Ubo was the only dog to finish the run off.
Cal won his 4th trial that I entered him in, both of us were so new to this trialling game so we took a few trials to settle, Cal picked a beautiful runner, it was a mixture of walked up and driven, to finish we had a mini drive, picked our last partridge and we were then allowed to go and sit back in the gallery - only 3 dogs to finish!
